🃏Judgement card game: scorekeeper and play-in-the-app
Also known as Kachuful, Oh Hell, Nomination Whist and Judgment.
Judgement is a trick-taking card game where you predict how many hands you will win, then try to hit that number exactly. Crewgether works two ways: a scorekeeper that tracks bids and points while you play with a real deck, or a fully dealt in-app game where everyone plays from their own phone.

How to play Judgement
- Deal and reveal the trumpEach round starts with a number of cards each (for example 17 with 3 players). One card is turned up and its suit is the trump for the round. The trump suit rotates through Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts and then a No Trump round.
- Everyone predictsStarting with the player after the dealer, each player says how many hands they expect to win. In the app you pick a number and press Confirm.
- Play the tricksThe first player leads a card, everyone else must follow suit if they can, and the highest trump – or, if no trump was played, the highest card of the suit that was led – wins the hand.
- Score the roundHit your prediction exactly and you score. Miss it – by winning more or fewer hands – and you score nothing for that round.
- Count downEach round uses one fewer card each. The player with the most points after the last round wins.
Rules and options
- Scoring in Crewgether: predicting and winning 0 hands scores 15 points; otherwise a correct prediction scores 10 points per hand (1 = 10, 2 = 20, 3 = 30 and so on).
- Dealer rule (optional): the dealer bids last and may not make the total of all bids equal the number of cards dealt, so somebody always misses.
- Length: pick 1, 2 or 3 cycles. One cycle counts the cards down from the maximum to one.
- Trump suit names show in English first with the Gujarati name beneath – Spades (Kali), Diamonds (Charkat), Clubs (Fali) and Hearts (Laal).
Tips
- Bidding zero is a real strategy – it is worth more than bidding one, but you must avoid every hand.
- Count the trumps in your hand before you bid; a few high trumps usually mean a few sure hands.
- Playing with real cards? Pick the scorekeeper mode and let one phone track the scores for everyone.
