🕵️Undercover: the spy party game for your phones
A spy and bluffing game in the social-deduction style.
In Undercover every player secretly receives the same location – except one person, the spy. Take turns asking each other questions that prove you know where you are without giving the place away. The spy listens for clues and tries to blend in; everyone else tries to work out who is bluffing.

How to play Undercover
- Join and peekEveryone joins with the room code. Press and hold your card to see your secret place – or the word “Spy”.
- Ask sly questionsPlayers take turns asking someone else a question about the place, such as “What do you wear here?”. Answer, then ask the next person.
- Listen for bluffingToo vague? Too specific? A good answer shows you know the place without helping the spy.
- Call a voteAnyone can call a vote at any time, or the vote happens when the timer runs out. Everyone votes for who they think the spy is.
- Spy strikes backA caught spy still gets one chance to win by naming the secret place. A spy who works out the place early can also name it and win straight away.
Rules and options
- Scoring: agents each score 2 points when they win, the spy scores 4 points when the spy wins.
- The timer defaults to players plus one minutes (between 4 and 10) and the host can change it.
- Hosts can choose which place categories to use. A room will not repeat a secret place until it has used them all.
- Content packs add local places, and Hindi, Gujarati and Tamil versions written in Latin letters with the native script underneath.
Tips
- Ask questions that only someone who knows the place could answer – but avoid obvious giveaways.
- If you are the spy, answer slightly late and mirror other people’s words.
- Cross places off the list on your phone as you rule them out.
